A globally backed Manufacturer in Herefordshire is looking for a Production Planner to join their £120m turnover business.
This role will need an experienced Planner/Scheduler who can bring organisation & good knowledge of planning systems for the next 1-2 years of manufacturing.
There will be a flexible nature to this position with the potential for hybrid working.
Role: Production Planner
Salary: up to £37,000 per annum + benefits
Location: Leominster (hybrid working 3 days in the office, 2 at home)
The key responsibilities for the Production Planner are:
1. Working closely with all internal stakeholders to develop and maintain scheduling procedures and processes from Engineering, Sales, Production, etc.
2. Strategic & Analytical approach to planning
3. Coordinating with Procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials & components
4. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity & quality
5. Preparing & presenting reports on Engineering, Production & facilities performance as well as capacity to management
6. Having the ability to plan 1-2 years ahead of schedule
The key requirements for the Production Planner will be:
1. Proven track record of success in Scheduling & planning in a Manufacturing Environment
2. Good internal/external communicator who is able to work with all departments
3. Strong knowledge of Planning Software - Liquid Planner/Primavera planning software (ideally)
4. Strategic/Analytical mindset
