Role Overview:
The Business Development (BD) Manager will be responsible for expanding the company’s presence in the UK by driving sales and business growth. Acting as a sole contributor, this individual will lead the entire sales process, develop strategic partnerships, and manage customer relationships. This role is hands-on, involving execution, lead generation, and engagements with executive stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a sales and business development strategy for the company in the UK.
* Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.
* Build strategic partnerships with fintechs, remittance companies, and financial institutions.
* Enhance customer satisfaction and explore opportunities to improve the company’s offerings.
* Coordinate service roll-outs and align them with market-specific regulations.
* Attend industry events, generate leads, and maintain sales reports.
* Provide feedback to management and adjust strategies based on market insights.
* Ensure client retention, satisfaction, and resolve issues through effective communication.
* Track industry trends and convey customer needs to the support team.
Qualifications:
* 10-15 years of experience in Payments, Fintech, or Financial Services, with a focus on B2B sales in remittance or payment service providers (PSPs).
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
* Strong CRM, customer, and market skills, with attention to detail.
* Fluency in English, with Spanish as an advantage.
