Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Maths Teacher to join a supportive school community in Christchurch. This is a full-time role, ideal for an experienced educator with a strong background in Special Educational Needs who is committed to making a difference in students' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons tailored to SEN students, ensuring accessibility and understanding for all learning levels.
* Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that nurtures individual learning needs and fosters academic growth.
* Collaborate with the SEN team and support staff to develop personalized learning plans and monitor student progress.
* Engage positively with students, parents, and staff, maintaining clear communication and supporting the school's inclusive ethos.
Essential Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching Maths to SEN students at secondary level (KS3 and KS4).
* Strong understanding of SEN best practices, with a patient, compassionate, and adaptable teaching style.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo the check).
