As a Technical Lead, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and ensuring the smooth operation of our applications. You will be responsible for a team of developers and testers, carrying out change and run. Responsible for vendor management and the technical roadmap ensuring continuous improvement in availability, currency, and commerciality. This is a progressive role working across teams delivering enhancements to our customer experience, delivering scalable solutions to our customers. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of initiatives working with stakeholders across the group. About the role- -You will provide problem management and incident resolution capability (production support) for the platform. -Build trusting relationships with key stakeholders and internal customers. -Provide expertise to on the methods and tools needed to deliver change that meets business requirements in a way that's sustainable for the team. -Ensure required technical upgrades and maintenance are scheduled, working closely with relevant 3rd party vendor(s). -You will manage the team's performance against key deliverables and measures quality against agreed internal benchmarks. -Identifying opportunities to leverage new capabilities within the platform to add value to the business and our customers. -Lead with recruitment of permanent and flexible resource and provide line management to the team. About you- -Strong people leadership track record, mentoring and developing direct reports. -You will have experience building and running applications ideally within Azure cloud environments. -Will have sound, broad knowledge of IT, an expert in system development techniques and methods. In-depth knowledge of architecture, design and development best practices. -Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced environment. -Experience of successfully leading technical evaluations. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
