Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join our team in Bolton. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire and engage students in the study of English language and literature.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective English lessons.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum and best practices in English education.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in English or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching English at the secondary school level.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
Desirable:
• Experience with digital learning tools and resources.
• Familiarity with contemporary literature and writing practices.
• Ability to contribute to other areas of the school curriculum.
