Connect Appointments is seeking an experienced Project/Contract Manager within the Engineering sector to join and strengthen our client's existing team in the North East of England.
Our client is a major independent door company specializing in the manufacture, installation, repair, and maintenance of all types of Industrial Doors and Shutters, Steel Fabrication, and more, serving a diverse customer base across various industries.
As a Project/Contract Manager, you will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and supervising the repairs team in a dynamic environment. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
* Liaising with customers to ensure projects are completed to their satisfaction
* Providing estimates and quotes based on client drawings and meetings
* Producing production drawings and managing the fabrication process
* Managing the project team
* Controlling project costs, timelines, and budgets
* Mitigating project risks
* Conducting site inspections
To succeed in this role, you should have previous experience in project management, along with the following skills and traits:
* Ability to work under pressure
