From January 2025 Grove Park School welcomes its new Headteacher who is looking for Teaching Assistants to as part of an inspirational team committed driving the school forward and taking it to where it deserves to be. A fantastic time to join the school and be part of their success story.
Grove Park School, is a vibrant special school for pupils aged 4-19 with a wide range of special education needs, including moderate, severe and profound learning difficulties (MLD/SLD/PMLD) as well as autism (ASC). The school is set across three sites (primary, secondary and sixth form) located closely together in Crowborough, East Sussex.
In addition to new leadership, Grove Park School is also extremely excited to be starting their journey of improvement with the guidance and support of London South East Academies Trust, an award-winning special education trust with a proven background in transforming special schools into amazing places to learn and work within.
Teaching Assistants at Grove Park School play a key role as part of a whole school team assisting in promoting the best possible outcomes in terms of wellbeing, learning and personal development of all pupils. There are opportunities available working with primary, secondary and sixth form aged pupils.
These roles offer the opportunity to make a real difference working as a part of a strong motivated team supporting the values and ethos of the school focussing on providing the best education possible for all pupils to fulfil their potential. Interest is welcomed from experienced Teaching Assistants as well as those from a similar caring and nurturing background with transferable skills along with a willingness to lean. Full training will be given to ensure all candidates are equipped with the skills needed to excel.
Successful candidates will have excellent communication and engagement skills as well as the ability to demonstrate understanding, open mindedness and kindness and a passion for working with pupils with special educational needs.
