We are currently working with an excellent firm based in Cambridgeshire who are looking to recruit an Employment Partner to head up the department.
The role is a full-time position and the firm are looking for someone who has already been working in a similar level role for several years who could step in straight away to lead and grow the team.
The firm are happy for the successful candidate to work on a hybrid basis (3 days in the office) from either their Cambridge or Peterborough office, both of which have parking on site.
Typical duties would include:
* Manage a diverse caseload of both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
* Lead strategic development
* Managing a team of solicitors and associates
* Providing expert legal advice and support on a range of employment matters including:
o Dismissals
o TUPE
o Discrimination
o Protected Conversations
The successful candidate:
1. Experience handling contentious and non-contentious employment matters
2. Previous experience managing a large team in a previous partner level role.
