Our client, a global real estate services provider, is seeking an experienced Associate Director Rural to oversee the management of a diverse property portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to join a trusted industry leader and drive the success of their rural, commercial, and residential properties.
Position Overview
The Associate Director Rural will be responsible for overseeing the management of a diverse portfolio of rural, commercial, and residential properties, ensuring compliance with regulations, developing budgets, and identifying opportunities for revenue growth and capital projects.
Responsibilities
* Oversee management of rural, commercial, and residential properties
* Negotiate terms for leases, renewals, and rent reviews
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and property regulations
* Develop budget proposals for income, expenditure, and capital projects
* Manage income and expenditure in line with budgets
* Prepare quarterly reports and attend client meetings
* Identify and promote opportunities for additional revenue and capital
* Obtain necessary consents for projects, including planning and environmental
* Procure building contractors and negotiate contracts
* Manage capital projects from inception to completion
Requirements
* Proven track record in managing diverse property portfolios
* Experience in procurement, contract negotiation, and project management
* Strong organisational, planning, and prioritisation skills
* Approachable, engaging, and diplomatic communication skills
* Ability to work closely with colleagues and develop strategies
* Interest in rural affairs and appreciation of public expectations
* Strategic thinking and ability to look beyond current models
* Good numerical skills and experience with budgets
* Affinity with the ethos of the organisation
* Chartered membership of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors
