This exciting opportunity focuses on recruiting an Education Specialist for Early Years and Teaching to cover the region. Key responsibilities include planning, coordinating, mentoring, and supporting apprentices across various levels from 2 to 5 in Early Years Education and the Teaching Assistant role.
The successful candidate will share their knowledge and experience gained from working in Early Years and Schools sectors to ensure apprentices achieve their programme goals at the highest level and within a timely manner.
Responsibilities
* Skill Assessments: Conduct comprehensive assessments with apprentices and employers to identify skill gaps.
* Personalized Training Plans: Develop tailored training plans for individual apprentices.
* Training Delivery: Deliver high-quality training sessions covering functional skills to meet awarding body standards.
* Feedback and Support: Provide regular feedback through the E-Portfolio system and deliver tutorial support on Prevent, British Values, Personal Development, Behaviour, Welfare, Safeguarding, and additional learning needs.
* Candidate Progress Monitoring: Monitor candidates' progress, set timely completion targets, and offer support for portfolio completion and assessments.
Requirements
* Essential Qualifications: Hold a qualification or possess experience in the Early Years & Teaching sector.
* Industry Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge.
* Literacy and Numeracy: Possess Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy qualifications.
* Travel Requirements: Hold a full driving license, own a vehicle, and be willing to travel to customer sites.
* Desirable Qualifications: Considered desirable are assessor and IV/IQA qualifications, as well as experience working in Further Education or similar environments.
Compensation Package
We are offering a competitive salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, commensurate with your skills and experience. In addition to this, you can expect a comprehensive benefits package, which may include pension contributions, health insurance, and other perks suitable to the company's policies.
