Learning Mentor Location: Northfield, Birmingham, B31 Day Rate: £95-£110 Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only) Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM Start Date: 06/01/2024 Contract: Long-Term, Temp to PermLTF Recruitment is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Learning Mentor to join our partner primary school in Northfield. This is a long-term position with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role for the ideal candidate. Key Responsibilities: Work with the pastoral care team to support and promote positive behaviour across the school. Work closely with class teachers and support staff to assist key children within the classroom setting. Lead one-on-one and small group sessions focusing on areas such as self-esteem, anger management, and social skills. Develop and deliver tailored sessions to support specific learning targets for children with diverse needs. Collaborate with the Pastoral Care Manager on attendance, family issues, and other concerns.What We Are Looking For: Experience in a similar role within an educational setting. Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and safeguarding principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
