Job summary The post will be part of the Physical Health Psychology Specialty in the ME/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS)Service within the Older Adults & Frailty Division of LPFT. The Physical Health Psychology Specialty currently provides county-wide rehabilitation assessment, support and rehabilitation therapy to patients both Adults and Children with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS)/ME and adults with cancer. Lincolnshire has an area of approximately 220 square miles and has a population of 751,171 (2017). Service users are seen in clinics, hospitals and in their own homes across Lincolnshire. Referrals to the Service come from a variety of sources, including GP's, Neurology, Rheumatology, Mental Health, CAMHS and other associated professionals. Because of the nature of the disabilities caused by CFS/ME some patients may need to be seen in their homes or at local NHS facilities.
