We’re looking for a Kitchen Production Manager to oversee our Central Production Unit and park-wide kitchen operations. This role is hands-on, dynamic, and integral to ensuring the highest food hygiene standards while leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role
As Kitchen Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing our Central Production Unit, which prepares a variety of fresh, high-quality dishes, including sandwiches, baguettes, paninis, traybakes, sweet treats, chilli, lasagna, and other hot dishes, as well as running our fish & chip and pizza kitchens. You’ll also oversee kitchen team rotas across all venues, ensuring smooth operation and efficient food production throughout the park.
About You
You are an experienced Head of Production with a strong background in central kitchen operations and a passion for food and hospitality.
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
• Prior experience in a fast-paced, quality central production kitchen
• Ability to manage high-volume food production across multiple sites
• Strong leadership skills – hands-on approach, leading by example
• Creativity and attention to detail in menu execution
• Passion for food and eagerness to learn & innovate
Key Responsibilities
• Stock & Waste Management – Oversee stock rotation, reduce waste, and minimise over-ordering
• Food Preparation & Training – Lead daily prep and train staff on new dishes
• Team Leadership – Supervise and support the kitchen team, ensuring efficiency and safety
• Food Quality & Standards – Maintain food freshness, uniform portion sizes, and high-quality presentation
• Health & Safety Compliance – Ensure food safety best practices are followed by all team members
• Allergen Management – Oversee all allergen matrices across the park and ensure compliance with Natasha’s Law
• Food Labelling – Keep food labels up to date in line with allergen regulations
• Kitchen Inspections – Maintain cleanliness and functionality of equipment and workspaces
• Menu Innovation – Develop new menu ideas to attract guests to our food venues
• Ordering & Supply Management – Manage food orders to align with company guidelines
• Flexibility & Adaptability – Take on additional duties as needed
Our business hours for food services are 08:00 until 11:00 pm to match our Theme Park and Holiday Park operations. We also cater for corporate and other events.
Please note – this role requires you to be available to work weekends, early mornings, and evenings, during the school holiday period and Bank Holiday, although we can be flexible in the shift patterns if necessary.
Hours will be rostered in advance. Flexibility is also required from you to meet the peak and off-peak demands of our opening.
