Cleaning Supervisor
We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of cleaning services across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities:
* Supervision and Oversight: You will oversee and inspect various cleaning sites to ensure they meet our high standards.
* Team Management: Supervise and manage all contracted staff, ensuring that all team members are present and working efficiently on-site.
* Training: Provide on-the-job training for new staff, ensuring that all employees understand and follow proper cleaning procedures and safety regulations.
* Cleaning Cover: Be ready to step in and cover shifts when staff are unavailable due to sickness or vacations.
* Site Inspections: Regularly inspect cleaning sites to ensure quality standards are being upheld and rectify any issues immediately.
* Client Coordination: Manage deliveries to client locations and ensure that supplies are replenished as needed.
General Cleaning Duties (When Required):
* Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
* Dust and wipe down surfaces to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
* Clean and sanitise washrooms, ensuring they are well-stocked with necessary supplies.
* Maintain compliance with company policies and safety regulations at all times.
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM.
* Flexibility to work additional hours in the evenings on an ad-hoc basis, depending on business needs.
Requirements:
* Experience: Prior experience in cleaning supervision or a similar role is preferred.
* Transportation: You must be a vehicle owner, as travel between various client sites across Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, and Warwickshire is required.
* Skills: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a team effectively.
* Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing work environments and step in to cover shifts when necessary.
