About MB Corp:
MB Corp is a diversified holding company overseeing multiple businesses, including real estate, property management, financial services, cleaning services, and restaurants. We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper, or similar role, to manage the financial operations across all MB Corp entities and report directly to the CEO.
Job Summary:
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing financial transactions, budgeting, financial reporting, and ensuring financial accuracy across multiple business units. This role requires strong attention to detail, strategic financial planning skills, and experience working directly with executive leadership. Experience with QuickBooks is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping & Financial Management:
* Oversee accounts payable and receivable for all MB Corp businesses
* Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy
* Process payroll and employee expense reimbursements
* Maintain general ledger and ensure proper classification of transactions
* Assist with tax preparation and compliance, working with external accountants
Budgeting & Financial Planning:
* Develop and maintain budgets for all MB Corp entities
* Track monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance and provide analysis
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and financial efficiencies
* Create financial projections and cash flow analysis for business planning
Reporting & Executive Support:
* Prepare financial reports (P&L statements, balance sheets, budget forecasts) for the CEO
* Provide insights on spending trends, revenue growth, and expense management
* Support the CEO with financial planning, audits, and investment decision-making
Qualifications:
* Experience: 1+ years in bookkeeping, financial analysis, or accounting, preferably in a multi-entity business environment
* Software Proficiency: Strong experience with QuickBooks; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools preferred
* Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
* Detail-Oriented & Analytical: Ability to identify financial trends, forecast budgets, and provide data-driven insights
* Executive-Level Communication: Experience working with senior leadership and presenting financial reports
* Confidentiality & Integrity: Ability to handle sensitive financial data with discretion
