The Role As the Finance Director, you will lead the financial strategy of the business, ensuring sustainable growth and strong financial governance. Reporting directly to the MD, you’ll be a key member of the leadership team, driving decision-making through robust financial insights and contributing to the long-term vision of the company. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the financial strategy to support the company’s objectives. Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and risk management. Provide financial analysis and insights to guide strategic decisions and operational improvements. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, including tax, audit, and statutory requirements. Manage and develop a high-performing finance team. Lead on investor and stakeholder communications, particularly with PPL and PRS for Music. Drive operational efficiency measures across the business. Support commercial negotiations and partnerships with a focus on financial outcomes. About You To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be a commercially astute finance leader with a track record of success in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment. Essential Skills and Experience: ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent. Significant experience in senior financial leadership roles. Proven ability to shape financial strategy and influence company-wide decisions. Strong knowledge of financial controls, reporting, and compliance. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience engaging with boards. A collaborative approach, with the ability to inspire and lead a team. Desirable Skills: Experience in the licensing, media, or creative sectors. Knowledge of operational finance within a joint venture or partnership structure.
