Join to apply for the Trainee Teaching Assistant role at Vision for Education Ltd.
Vision for Education is looking for reliable and committed individuals interested in building a career in schools. We are offering a limited number of places in the Gainsborough area to join our National Teaching Assistant programme starting in February. This is a great opportunity for those who have always wanted to work as a Teaching Assistant (TA) but lack hands-on experience.
You will receive training and support, culminating in a 5-day paid placement in a primary school in Scunthorpe or the surrounding areas. After your placement, we can offer day-to-day, short-term, and/or long-term roles as a Trainee Teaching Assistant (TA) within local schools.
Working alongside our client schools, we will provide the successful Trainee Teaching Assistant (TA) with high-quality training and paid on-the-job experience. Following a successful interview and pending suitability, safeguarding, and identity checks, we will work to secure you a paid placement in a school to further develop your skills. You will receive ongoing support from a dedicated consultant.
The role of a Teaching Assistant is vital in the day-to-day running of schools. The best Teaching Assistants possess excellent communication skills and can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff. Depending on the role and school, you will work with the class teacher to manage behavior, support interventions, and provide additional assistance to children with SEND (special educational needs and disabilities). You will also assist the class teacher with recording and reporting on pupil progress and behavior.
