A dynamic and fast-growing e-commerce fashion brand are looking for a HR & Talent Manager to join the business. A newly created role to truly make your own, you will take the lead on all HR functions, from recruitment and on-boarding to employee engagement and compliance. This is someone who is looking to join a SME business and has built the HR function from the ground up, you will be joining the vision of the company as they open their London Design Hub!
Working closely with leadership to develop a people first culture while aligning HR practices with the company’s growth goals. They need to make sure that all their procedures and processes are complete and set up for the future growth of the business.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee end-to-end recruitment, ensuring you attract top talent aligned with their brand values.
* Develop and manage a seamless on-boarding process to set up new hires.
* Drive initiatives for a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
* Implement and oversee performance review processes.
* Provide guidance to managers on goal setting, feedback and team development.
* Develop and maintain HR policies that align with UK employment laws.
* Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Identify training needs and organise development programs to up skill employees.
* Support leadership with succession planning and career growth strategies.
* Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and concerns.
* Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts professionally and confidentially.
* Manage employee records, contracts, and HR systems - liaising with the lawyers.
* Oversee payroll processes in collaboration with the finance team.
* Work with senior leadership to align HR strategies with company goals.
* Provide insights and recommendations on workforce planning and retention.
You:-
* Experience and ability to build the role from scratch.
* Proven experience in HR, preferably in a creative or e-commerce environment. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to build trust and rapport with employees across all levels. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Experience with HR software and tools.
* CIPD qualification or equivalent (preferred but not essential).
* A passion for fostering a positive, people-focused culture.
