This role starts as a long-term contract, with the possibility of becoming permanent after a successful probation period. Role Details: Position: Learning Support Assistant (ASD, ADHD & SEMH) Key Stages: KS1 & KS2 Contract: Long-term, with potential for permanency Pay: £83 - £110 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities) Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm Location: Chelmsford, Essex Start Date: ASAP/February 2025 Perks: Hands-on, supportive Senior Leadership Team (SLT) Ongoing training and CPD opportunities Free onsite parkingKey Responsibilities: Support students with ASD, ADHD, and SEMH needs in their daily learning and development. Build trust and positive relationships with students. Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored support plans. Help students develop essential life and academic skills.Requirements: Prior experience working with students with ASD, ADHD, or SEMH needs. Ability to build strong rapport with students and establish trust. Patience, empathy, and resilience in working with diverse needs. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
