The Business Development Representative will collaborate with senior sales executives to support the business development process. They will coordinate with a broader team to develop and implement outreach strategies targeting private market asset managers and investors. The primary focus will be on acquiring new private market clients for the fund secondaries technology products.
Responsibilities include:
* Supporting the Senior Sales Executives in identifying key areas of opportunities in the market.
* Assisting in closing deals to meet individual/team quotas and company business objectives.
* Working closely with the Nasdaq Asset Manager Sales Team to identify key areas of opportunities across the asset management, investment consultant, and institutional investor spaces.
* Prospecting potential clients through calls, emails, and social channels. Scheduling meetings and performing discoveries and demonstrations with sales partners when required.
* Collaborating with the broader BDR team on cross-functional initiatives.
* Managing workflows effectively through our CRM system.
* Developing a good understanding of industries, regulatory environments, and markets.
Experience Required: At least 1 year.
Proactive, responsive team player who can thrive in a dynamic and changing environment.
Competitive and motivated self-starter who is results-driven.
Exceptional use of Microsoft Suite and ability to learn new platforms quickly. Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
Investment industry experience is a plus.
Series 7 and Series 63 not required but helpful.
