The client in question is recognised as a global pioneer in aerospace and defence related services and who focus on customer satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesEvaluating design data in the preparation of Technical Publication documents for the end user, including.Service BulletinsMaintenance InstructionsIllustrated Parts CatalogueCustomised Wiring Diagram ManualsTechnical administration of approved design data and technical publications.Review of aircraft records for validation of Technical Publications effectivity and updating Design records.Maintaining Document Management System Database configuration as new requirements is identified.Requirements:Knowledge and skills:Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and AccessWorking knowledge of VBA and SQLAdvance skills in the use of Adobe Acrobat ProFamiliar with ATA 2200 or AECMA 1000D specification.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawingsProficient English language skills with good standard of spelling and grammar to write clear concise instructionsCommissioning, coordinating or preparing illustrationsEducation:Technical Author Qualification or equivalent ExperienceMinimum of 5 GCE \\\'O\\\' Level / GCSE equivalent including English and MathsGood numeracy: GCE \\\'O\\\' Level / GCSE equivalent in Mathematics/Arithmetic.Experience:Engineering backgroundWriting technical instruction documentsWorking with design and certification teamsProduction or Maintenance would be beneficial but not essentialOther:Good Organisational and Communication SkillsProfessional approach to all tasks strives to deliver what is expected dependable.Well developed interpersonal skills and excellent communication - written and oral - at all levels.Well organised and methodical - pays attention to details and focuses on accuracy and precision, as well as meeting deadlines.Ability to work effectively in team and on own initiative.Punctual and reliable.
