We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our AMG Chrome team based in Rotherham.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will primarily be responsible for the repair and preventative electrical maintenance service for our Chrome business. Reduce downtime, improve plant performance and reliability by identifying and implementing engineering solutions.
Rota shift pattern: 4 on 4 off, 2 days 2 nights
Salary: £45,264 - WITH GRADING UP TO £48,811
Overtime rates: paid at 1.5 and double time
Signing Bonus: Successful candidates will receive a signing bonus of £2,500.00

Other duties of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer will include:
* Work to the company's Safety, Health, Environmental policy, associated standards and procedures
* Providing first line maintenance/breakdown
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks
* Facilitate lean ways of working to minimise waste and maximise efficiency
* Leading, coaching and developing other employees
* Practise continuous improvement, innovation and pro-activeness for improved ways of working
* Ensure that all parts required are booked out correctly
We are keen to speak with Electrical Maintenance Engineers with the following:
* Time served essential
* 18th edition highly desirable
* Proven electrical experience in a medium to heavy manufacturing environment
* Practical Mechanical / Electrical hands-on skills
* Good fault finding and problem solving skills
* Good knowledge of continuous improvement programmes, particularly planned maintenance activities
