Job Title: Front Desk Supervisor
The Delta Hotels by Marriott Swindon is seeking a dedicated Front Desk Supervisor to join our Front Desk team!

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, supporting the team to achieve common goals.
2. Assist the Front Office Manager (FOM) in ensuring the department operates smoothly and correctly.
3. Respond appropriately to concerns raised by employees and guests.
4. Assist with hiring and coaching staff.
5. Serve as a role model, promoting uniform standards and best practices.
6. Prepare correspondence and documents using word processing, spreadsheets, databases, or presentation software.
7. Update and retrieve information from computer databases, reservations, and records.
8. Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including date stamping and distribution.
9. Maintain filing and organization systems for records, reports, and documents.
10. Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities and transactions.
11. Communicate professionally via telephone and in person.
Ideal Candidate:
Someone with a warm, people-oriented demeanor, a team-first attitude, and an outgoing personality. Flexibility, problem-solving skills, and the ability to multitask are essential. Knowledge of Opera software is preferred but not essential.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* At least 1 year of related work experience.
* At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
* No specific license or certification required.
