In a nutshell Reporting to the Manager - Inflight Services Operations, this role is accountable for delivering the onboard experience as designed by the Inflight Services team. This involves ensuring the safe, secure and efficient delivery of the onboard product and service through consistent and robust methods of oversight and proactive supplier performance management. Day to day The role of Manager - Inflight Services Operations Delivery is highly varied. You will be responsible for a number of key areas contributing towards the team's key deliverable activity, namely the safe, secure and efficient delivery of the catering operation and associated services to customers. Working with multiple suppliers and internal stakeholders to help maintain service levels and key performance metrics, through main areas of focus such as: Operations and Resilience Planning Supplier Performance Management Operational Safety, Security and Compliance Food Safety Assurance and Compliance About you We're seeking an experienced, highly professional Inflight Services Manager, who is confident in influencing internal stakeholders and third party suppliers and is a natural leader. If this sounds like you and you have the below qualities/experience, we think you would love this role Experience in airline operations: with preferred knowledge of inflight product supply chain and processes, airline safety, security and ramp operations. Experience in managing multiple and varied requirements is essential. Track record of success at managing third party service contracts and compliance. Significant and varied supplier management experience with clear understanding of the impact of culture with experience of supplier relationship management best practice and an understanding of the need for multiple approaches. Strong adherence to processes and procedures, keen eye for detail and ability identify trends and issues via data insight to inform change requirements and plans of action - Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, and holder of a Food Safety (Level 3) certificate. Ability to be on call, when required, as Inflight Service Operations is a 24/7 service, all year round.
