We're looking for a skilled Digital Marketing Assistant to help enhance our marketing efforts for our product launch in January 2025. We're looking for someone with a broad generalist skill set, with primary strengths in content, design, and editing, alongside adaptability for other tasks. Our startup is an exciting venture, backed by a leading fund, and Innovate UK. There is a great opportunity to have a big impact in the business, as this is a hands on role. They can also help to develop and lead our growth strategy, alongside our experienced marketing advisor who was instrumental at Netflix, and has sold a successful marketing agency. This is a long-term project with great rewards. ESSENTIAL SKILLS 1. Content marketing: Ability to execute a content strategy through blog writing, hero pieces, and lead magnet assets like quizzes, assessments, or mini video courses. 2. Design & editing: Experience at designing and editing content, particularly video (although this can be basic skills). This includes breaking down and distributing content across multiple channels. 3. Email marketing: Ability to develop and implement email sequences for lead follow-ups, nurturing prospects, and supporting the acquisition and sales process. 4. CRM & Website: Working knowledge of HubSpot and website analytics (GA4) to be able to monitor performance and run marketing automations. On page SEO. 5. Social Media: Experience of running social media campaigns aligned with our content strategy that drive results. NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE 1. SEO: Off page SEO in order to build backlinks and improve domain authority. 2. Paid advertising: Setup and management for paid campaigns (mainly for Search). 3. Domain expertise: We are developing a user research tool that will be used by Product Managers, User researchers and designers. A knowledge of this space, and an understanding of the competitive landscape would be a big bonus SUPPORT & EXECUTION: 1. Comfortable briefing us for key assets, like filming video courses or other core content pieces, and then taking those raw materials to produce polished assets. 2. Ownership of execution tasks, ensuring the content is optimised and distributed effectively across all channels. 3. Support the general creation of acquisition and sales strategies alongside the execution of campaigns. 4. Supporting with customer service, creating email campaigns. 5. Optimisations and automation for repeatable marketing activities. ATTITUDE: Self-starter mentality: Someone entrepreneurial, willing to learn, and capable of figuring things out independently.
