Job overview
An opportunity has arisen for a senior project manager to support Radiology. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to be responsible for set projects affecting Radiology and associated departments across Cardiff and Vale UHB sites.
The primary project this role will be responsible for supporting is Radiology Information System Procurement (RISP) and its implementation into Cardiff and Vale UHB.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the implementation of the RISP project, acting as a point of contact and liaison with the clinical services, A&C services, PACS team and Directorate management team facilitating the deployment, migration and integration of the new systems.

QUALIFICATIONS & ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE
* Educated to Postgraduate Diploma level in a relevant subject or equivalent experience
* Evidence of continued professional development
* Project and/or Programme management office qualification, PRINCE2, MSP or equivalent experience
EXPERIENCE
* Experience of management and managing successful project.
* Effective partnership working in the public sector
* Experience of effective stakeholder working with external bodies.
* Experience as a formal project manager
* Experience of working within the NHS
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
* Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
* Track record of complex problem solving in a project management environment
* Competent in the use of desktop applications
* Advanced IT skills in a range of desktop applications e.g., Excel, Power BI
