Role Overview As Centre Administrator, you will be responsible for the daily functioning of the centre management office on-site at your assigned location. You will provide essential administrative support for the centre management team and the wider staff. Your duties will include record-keeping, managing passports and pocket money, booking medical appointments, chasing forms, printing and ordering supplies, and ensuring smooth operational procedures. You will also manage the accommodation allocation and work closely with the Welfare Manager and Centre Manager to ensure students are accommodated appropriately for their bookings. Camp Location & Dates Oxford : 2nd July – 13th August 2025, International House Oxford, St Edward’s School (12-17 year olds) Tavistock : 9th July – 20th August, International House Tavistock, Mount Kelly School (12-17 year olds) Payment £676.72 per week including holiday pay paid induction Contract 1–6 weeks, depending on operational needs. The role requires up to 48 hours per week, typically spread over a 6 day week, with 1 full day off per week. Key Responsibilities Accommodation Management: Ensure all students are assigned appropriate rooms according to their booking and liaise with the site team regarding any maintenance issues. Transfer Day: Support the Centre Manager in preparing for transfer day, briefing staff, overseeing the registration process, and updating the live transfer sheet throughout the day. Financial Transactions: Maintain up-to-date records of petty cash and payments received. Ensure all receipts and expenses are filed appropriately and uploaded to the system. Passports & Deposits: Create and manage a filing system for passports and student deposits. Ensure all deposits and passports are returned before departure and liaise with group leaders about storage. Administrative Support: Assist with the registration of new staff, ensuring all documentation is completed, and responding to queries from staff and parents. Essential Requirements Educated to GCSE standard (minimum 5 A-C, including English and Maths). Proficient English speaker. IT literate. Strong administrative and multitasking skills. Customer service or administrative experience. Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team. Desirable Experience of working in a residential environment or in an educational institution. Experience of working with teenagers and young people. Ability to speak additional languages. Experience with financial administration (petty cash, receipts, and payments). Safeguarding training.
