Job Title: Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) Lead
Location: Swindon
Working hours: 9am – 5pm, with some flexibility required
Rate: £41.80 per hour
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced and dedicated AMHP to join a dynamic team based in Swindon as an AMHP Lead.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will provide operational leadership and triage support for the service. You will work closely with the Head of Service Integrated Pathways to ensure that statutory obligations are met. Additionally, you will lead on professional support and development, including supervision and legal compliance oversight. You will manage and perform senior clinical duties, offering advice and consultation to multidisciplinary colleagues. Furthermore, you will participate in Mental Health Act assessments.

Qualifications and Experiences:
To be successful in this role, you will be qualified as an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) with evidence of practice to support approval (warranting). You will have enhanced knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983 (2007), Codes of Practice 2018, Human Rights Act 1998, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and The Care Act 2014. You will demonstrate skills in assessing, managing, and working in high-risk situations, with the ability to address safeguarding issues. Your excellent communication and leadership skills will be essential. You will have a proven track record of collaborative work with individuals, families, and multi-disciplinary professionals. Additionally, you will be fluent in English, as required by Part 7 of the Immigration Act for customer-facing roles.
