This is an exciting opportunity created by the expansion and growth of the company, as they seek to appoint a new Associate Director (Rail Projects) This is a permanent role, based in Hampshire.

You will provide expert guidance and mentorship, ensuring high-quality outputs and fostering the professional development of your team.
In addition, you will be responsible for client-facing interactions, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.
Your leadership will drive the success of rail projects, ensuring they meet both technical and client expectations.
Essential Requirements: Electrically biased with BEng or MEng qualifications Chartered or working towards chartership Worked within the rail sector and led projects Understanding of the rail sector design standards Experience in IDC/IDR type rail meetings Extensive client facing experience Experience in acting in the role of CRE as required by Network Rail Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience of direct interface with technically biased client teams.
Significant track record of managing, leading and successfully delivering projects in an engineering design consultancy.
Understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health Engineering (MEP) and interdisciplinary design through all stages of the design process.
Experience in the rail sector is required.
Excellent technical knowledge of electrical design engineering.
Proficiency in report and specification writing, calculations (RELUX, AMTECH, DIALUX), AutoCAD, REVIT and/or Microstation and developing designs from first principles.
Experience of working in BIM environment.
Skills in team leadership and the professional development of others.
Ability to mentor and supervise graduates, engineers and senior engineers.
