Location: Edinburgh
Contract Duration: 3 Month Contract
Start Date: 13th January 2025
Pay Rate: £20-24ph (PAYE & CIS options available)
We are currently seeking an experienced Facilities Manager for a 3 Month contract looking after an educational campus in Edinburgh starting in January. The role will be managing and coordinating the facilities team including soft services, hard services and grounds teams.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring the site is safe, clean and well-maintained;
2. Maintaining a visible and approachable Facilities team which ensures that the needs of the School are met;
3. Management of facilities operations (cleaning, maintenance and grounds, transport, room booking and major events);
4. Management of Health and Safety and security across the campus;
5. Securing best value and delivery through contract management (including maintenance, domestic, waste);
6. Support of sustainability programmes and initiatives.
What we are looking for:
1. Previous experience managing a facilities team in a commercial or education environment;
2. NVQ/ Degree level qualification in Facilities Management/ Engineering;
3. Must pass a full PVG Check;
4. Driver - preferred but not essential.
