The Role
Harwich and Dovercourt High School is looking to recruit a confident Site and Lettings Assistant to help support our site team with our Lettings portfolio. Our sports facilities are available to hire by external sports clubs and are currently undergoing refurbishments to improve the provision.
The working pattern is based on a two-week rota, as follows:
* Week 1: Monday and Tuesday 18:00pm - 22:30pm, Saturday 9:00am -17:00pm (includes a 1-hour unpaid break on Saturday)
* Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday 17:30pm - 22:30pm, Sunday 9:30am - 16:30pm (includes a 1-hour unpaid break on Sunday)
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out preventive maintenance and first line repairs as instructed.
* Undertaking painting and decorating tasks in line with the maintenance programme established by the Site Manager.
* Monitoring the standards of cleanliness of the premises and furnishings and reporting any deficiencies to the Site Manager.
We're looking for you if you have:
* Experience of caretaking and/or buildings maintenance and security
* Ability to undertake DIY tasks
* Good understanding of health and safety
