Sessional Tutors and/or Assessors – Early Years and Teaching Assistant Qualifications
Croydon Adult Learning & Training (CALAT) Sessional Lecturer Conditions: Band 1, Pts 3 to 8 - £30.69 to £37.34 (including holiday pay) per hour.

We are looking for experienced and qualified sessional tutors and assessors who are sector experienced to teach and/or assess from E3 to Level 4 in Early Years and Teaching Assistant qualifications.
You must be experienced in teaching on accredited courses and/or a qualified assessor, able to assess learners’ competence in the workplace. You need to be able to work independently, be flexible and able to attend induction sessions, team meetings and CALAT Staff meetings, and be willing to work at different venues in Croydon.
CALAT is a large, dynamic and high-quality Adult Education provider (Good at inspection November 2023) that offers a wide range of courses and qualifications including those for Early Years and Teaching Assistants.
We are currently experiencing a high demand for Teaching Assistant and Early Years courses and are recruiting sessional tutors and assessors to work with us to support this expanding and dynamic curriculum offer.
Starting pay is £30.69 to £32.02 per hour (including holiday pay), depending on teaching qualification and experience. Tutors holding the equivalent to a Level 4 Certificate in Education & Training / Certificate in the Lifelong Learning Sector (CTLLS) or above, start at £32.02 (including holiday pay) per hour.
