Working as part of a team you will be directly involved in a diversity of challenging overhead line projects constructing and replacing out-dated networks. Overhead Line Installation & Maintenance – Erect poles, change transformers, and carry out overhead line work as required. 2. Safety & Compliance – Ensure all work is completed in line with company policies, industry standards, and statutory safety requirements. 3. Risk Assessment & Reporting – Participate in risk assessments, identify hazards, and report unsafe conditions or concerns to management. 4. Team Leadership & Mentorship – Lead by example, support team members, and mentor less experienced colleagues. 5. Equipment & Vehicle Maintenance – Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment in good working order to ensure operational efficiency. 6. Quality & Efficiency – Complete all work to a high standard, ensuring compliance with construction regulations and customer expectations. Requirements: Experience in overhead line construction and maintenance. Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., DNO authorizations, industry certifications). Strong understanding of health & safety regulations. Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions. Full UK driving licence (HGV or towing licence desirable).
