Our EdTech client is a leading provider of innovative education solutions, seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead their dynamic sales team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy, managing existing Business Development Managers and Account Executives, and directly engaging with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute the sales strategy, including setting growth targets and goals.
* Hands-on sales approach, with a focus on bringing in new clients in the Education sector.
* Oversee the sales pipeline, continuously evaluating team processes and identifying areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with Marketing and Customer Relationships teams to ensure alignment with the company's objectives.
* Use analytical skills to track and evaluate sales performance data, adjusting goals as needed to meet targets.
* Provide regular reports on sales activities and future strategies to the board.
* Manage, mentor, and support the sales team to ensure they have the resources needed to perform at their best.
* Actively engage in ongoing professional development through coaching, training, and team reviews.
Requirements:
* Experience in a sales role within the EdTech sector, with a good understanding of the education customer lifecycle.
* At least 2+ years of experience in a management position.
* Proven ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of an organisation.
* Strong data analysis skills to guide decision-making and process optimisation.
* Passionate about expanding the client base and community within the education technology sector.
* Excellent verbal communication skills, with strong negotiation abilities.
* Committed to continuous learning and maintaining a growth mindset.
* Thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment.
* Process-oriented while being adaptable to change and improvement.
* Familiarity with the SaaS product marketplace and subscription-based models.
* Comfortable using various software platforms to manage sales and workload.
