Job Description Summary:

Moreover, over the next 10 years, Nadara's development pipeline includes as much as 18 GW.
To strengthen our UK Development Team, we are looking for a Development & Community Engagement Specialist.
Job Description:
Main Responsibilities:
* Originate greenfield, acquisition or co-development opportunities for projects;
* Review and finalize land agreements or work with Land Manager and provide support on the negotiation/review of the option/lease;
* Manage the development process to optimise the budget and ensure project is delivered successfully in the quickest time;
* Put in place grid, aviation and other planning agreements to push the project to a ready to build status at the earliest opportunity;
* Work to gain support of the council and residents for the project;
* Successfully manage any appeal process and discharge of relevant conditions while managing all project stakeholders;
* Ensure health & safety standards are maintained, and adhere to the group’s HSSE policy requirements, including the management of external consultants;
* Manage JDA/External (project management) consultants as per agreement and ensure company goals are achieved from the agreement.
Key Requirements:
* Engineering Graduate with 4-5 years of experience in renewable sector;
* A thorough understanding of the commercial/environmental/regulatory challenges facing all stages of wind and solar project development and the renewable energy industry;
* Network of contacts to generate business opportunities;
* Appropriate skills to negotiate and deal with people;
* Sensitivity to different cultures/geographies;
* Good knowledge of Office Package.
