The Role:As a Junior Estimator, you will play a key role in supporting the Estimating team by compiling cost estimates to provide a client or potential client with products or services within a set timeframe. Working closely with architectural and structural drawings, you will assess material, labour, and equipment requirements and analyse different quotes from sub-contractors and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support with obtaining project specific quotations for elements of work. Subcontracted works, (design, fabrication and installation of supporting secondary steelwork) material supply and fabrication (ETFE, Glazing), and others as required
2. Support with Take off material schedule and prepare estimate using appropriate estimating system
3. Keep existing contracts up to date, including making amendments, providing new cost estimates, and maintaining communication with the client
