Searcys are looking for a Head of Events to assist the Venue Director in delivering the annual and monthly sales targets for the venue whilst supporting growth in all areas including Weddings. As a Head of Sales for Searcys you will support and manage a sales team and ensure they are coached and mentored to achieve exceptional results.

Salary : Competitive
As the Head of Event (Maternity Cover), you would be responsible for;
10. To manage the day to day operations of the venue, providing onsite direction and oversight, technical proficiency, and operational support to ensure that Searcys and the venue are recognised as a "London thing to do"
11. Actively mentoring and supporting the Sales Manager and Events teams to meet Searcys quality standards and to promote a positive, enthusiastic, and collaborative working environment.
12. Build effective planning and delivery processes in place to ensure smooth running of all events.
13. Lead weekly team meetings and briefing sessions, ensuring all parties have the information and support they need to deliver exceptional, 5 star service.
14. Strategic annual planning, with financial targets, and concise reporting.
15. Oversight of schedules, employee check-ins, equipment inspection, EPOS monitoring and troubleshooting, guest complaint resolution, training, food production, clean-up, post-event reconciliation and reporting.
16. Ensure that all venue policies, procedures, and practices are adhered to, including compliance with alcohol service and food handling / sanitation guidelines, general safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
We are looking to hear from candidates who have a proven track record of delivering show stopping, world class events with a keen eye for detail and numbers, whilst having exceptional interpersonal skills when liaising with team members, Senior Management and clients.
You will need to be able to work well in a fast-paced, event driven environment and be able to make sound operational decisions quickly and under pressure.
This role will be based in the City of London, working 5 over 7 days and predominantly evenings.
