Position: Early Years Practitioner

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Years Practitioner to join our nursery team from January. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting children's development, learning, and well-being in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as a key person for a group of children, building strong relationships with them and their families.
2. Observe, plan, and assess children’s progress to ensure their individual learning and development needs are met.
3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children’s achievements and share these with parents/carers.
4. Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
5. Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development through engaging activities and experiences.
6. Work collaboratively with the wider nursery team to ensure the smooth running of daily routines.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience working within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, preferably in a nursery setting.
2. A relevant childcare qualification (e.g., Level 3 in Early Years or equivalent).
3. Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
4. Excellent observational and communication skills.
5. Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
6. A proactive and flexible approach to supporting children’s learning and development.
