Human Resources Specialist

Primary Job Duties:
1. Support recruiting activities such as job ads, hiring events, job fairs, etc.
2. Formulate recruitment strategies that best serve business needs
3. Review and select applicants
4. Maintain Applicant Tracking Systems
5. Assess candidates through phone screens and interviews
6. Make hiring decisions in partnership with Executive Director
7. Conduct background and reference checks
8. Support employee onboarding with paperwork, training, etc.
9. Lead pre-employment training and orientation
10. Facilitate engagement and retention initiatives along with the Executive Director
11. Provide general HR and payroll support
12. Office support including phone and scheduling assistance, customer service, and office organization
13. Participate in rotational on-call/afterhours support
Job Requirements:
1. A personal or professional history that shows a passion for supporting older adults
2. Recruiting, Applicant Selection, and Interview Experience
3. Experience in office support
4. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including high proficiency in Excel
5. Working knowledge of ADP preferred
6. Background in Human Services Related Field preferred
7. Associates degree in Human Resources field preferred
8. Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable insured vehicle
Benefits:
1. Salary $60,000-$65,000 based on experience

Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm in office and rotation of on-call afterhours support
