Class 2/1 Hiab driver Location: Welwyn Garden City Monday to Friday Salary £17.78 Driver Hire Stevenage & Hatfield are recruiting a class 2 or class 1 hiab driver for our customer based in Welwyn Garden City. Job Responsibilities • Drive the vehicle safely and in accordance with the law, within driving regulations / hour limits • Follow all company Health & Safety guidelines and work to the company Standard Operating Procedures • Multi-drop delivery service of materials and plant; ensuring the products are loaded and unloaded safely and secured to minimize damage • Carry out any other duties appropriate for this post General Experience / Qualifications • Class 2 minimum (Class 1 preferable) • Lorry mounted crane certified (Hook not Clamshell) • Driver CPC • Previous construction industry experience • Plant delivery experience and/or qualification in plant delivery (NPORS) • Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills and able to work to deadlines • Self-motivated, and able to work on own initiative; enthusiastic with ‘can do’ attitude • Good communication skills For the right candidate a permanent position will be offered.
