We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic and motivated building surveyor to join our responsive repairs team. Within this role, you will attend daily inspections to assess, oversee, and manage the day-to-day response repairs that are reported and provide technical support from inception to completion in order to manage the end-to-end repairs process service for our residents and leaseholders. This will include resolving any issues that could happen pre, during, and post works being completed to ensure a high standard is achieved to meet our customer's needs. You will work with our internal trade teams and a range of external contractors from general building to specialists.
The scope of works you will come across daily can include, but is not limited to, the following items:
1. Repairing the roof
2. Windows and/or door replacement
3. Internal decorations
4. Bathroom/kitchen repairs
5. Asbestos removals
6. Mould/ventilation issues
7. Damp & timber treatments
8. Concrete and balcony repairs
9. Works to the curtilage of the property or of blocks, on occasion involving working at height
You will ensure that work is carried out to BCC standards, specifications, and timescales, ensuring quality and value for money. As a surveyor, you will inspect work at key stages through to practical completion and record all outcomes.

Position Details:
Permanent, Full Time 37 hours per week. However, we may consider applications from candidates looking to work reduced hours.
