An exciting opportunity has arisen to join my clients dynamic Site team, become a permanent member of a renowned Cornish business, and make your impact in the role of Orchard/Vineyard Controller. You will be responsible for maintaining well-kept and productive orchards, vineyards, grounds, farm animals, and gardens. Duties & Responsibilities Manage the grounds team, ensuring tasks meet COO guidelines and performance standards. Oversee orchards and vineyards, maintaining health, pest control, and yield. Maintain reports and logbooks. Support care of the second site 300 acres, including woodland and landscape management. Oversee garden and grounds maintenance, setting targets and ensuring tidiness. Maintain the polytunnel, ensuring it's productive and presentable. Ensure animal welfare, including feeding, health checks, and maintenance of tools and fences. Supervise staff, manage rodent control, and ensure safe equipment use. Complete tasks on time and assist with additional duties as requested by Directors. Qualification Tractor Driver and licence Spraying Certificate PA1, PA3 & PA6 Chainsaw Certificate Horticultural Trailer Licence Telehandler Ticket A strong background in general agriculture, horticulture, and orchard management is essential. You must be able to work under pressure, as meeting deadlines is key to ensuring the smooth operation of the business.
