Teconnex is a Global manufacturing organisation based in Keighley; due to our continued growth we now require a Payroll Officer to join our finance department. At Keighley we employ over 300 staff. We also have plants located in Romania, Mexico and India.
The role includes delivery of timely and accurate payroll processes and payments to on-payroll and agency staff. Management of tax and benefits deductions, maintenance of payroll records, and ensuring the fulfilment of regulatory compliance requirements.
Overview of role
* Maintain, validate and process a monthly payroll of approximately 300 hourly paid and salaried employees.
* Validate statutory payments, attachment of earnings, and similar items.
* Arrange BACS payments for payroll, pension, PAYE, NI and other associated items.
* Liaise with line leaders and other departments regarding payroll queries.
* Liaise with internal and external contacts to provide information in support of payments to external agency staff.
* Assist in processing starters and leavers in the business.
* Administer pensions auto-enrolment, and ad-hoc changes.
* Administer new tax codes and changes to pay rates.
* Conduct monthly reconciliations of any deferred amounts payable to staff, HMRC, pensions etc.
