Bus/PCV Engineer Required
Location: Keynsham, Bristol
Salary: Up to £19.09 per hour pending experience
Hours: 40-hour week (rotating shifts) - 6:00am-2:00pm / 9:00am-5:00pm / 12:00pm-8:00pm

Our client, a public and private transport vehicle supplier across Southwest England, is currently looking to hire a Bus/Passenger Carrying Vehicle (PCV) Engineer to maintain their fleet of vehicles from their service centre located in Keynsham, Bristol.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager and working with a small and friendly team, as a Bus/PCV Engineer your key objectives will include:
1. Repairing and maintaining our client's fleet of buses to a high standard (mostly Volvo but also Mercedes-Benz, Scania, and Alexander Dennis).
2. Assisting in the fault diagnosis process.
3. Complying with warranty procedures during repairs and with warranty material on completion of a repair.
4. Road testing vehicles when required (if holder of HGV/PCV licence).
5. Ensuring that all vehicle defects are reported to the Engineering Manager.
6. Adhering to Health & Safety policies.
7. Attending vehicle breakdowns and/or accidents as and when necessary.
To be eligible for this Bus/PCV Engineer role, you will ideally be:
1. Trained to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent as either an HGV or PCV Technician, however, our client is very open to considering candidates with no formal qualifications but several years of strong practical
