Love bus driving but don't want to work evenings and weekends? At Realise, we’re searching for people passionate about transport to join us as a Trainer – and the best part is – you don’t need prior training qualifications! All we ask for is experience in delivering bus driver training and a willingness to learn.
As a Bus Driver Trainer, you’ll make a real difference in the lives of others. Working with high-profile transport organisations committed to employee development, you’ll provide learners with the skills to become professional Bus Drivers.
This role is Monday to Friday, likely from 7.30am to 3.30pm, with potential future hours from 9am to 5pm.
Your key responsibilities are likely to include:
1. Having an excellent understanding of what it takes to be an outstanding driver.
2. Using your experience to deliver high-quality learning experiences.
3. Managing a caseload of learners and supporting them through their apprenticeship and end point assessment.
4. Prioritising quality in all aspects of your work – for learners, employers, and colleagues.
5. Utilising various teaching methods to suit individual learner preferences.
6. Leading group training sessions, both remotely and face-to-face.

About You
* Significant bus driving experience
* Valid CPC and PCV licence
* Experience in delivering training or mentoring (practical bus driver training, classroom training, CPC Training, route learning, vehicle familiarisation)
* ICT literacy
* Assessment qualification (e.g., TAQA Level 3/A1/D32/33) – desirable but not essential (training provided)
* Teaching qualification (e.g., AET, PTLLS) – desirable but not essential (training provided)
* Experience in preparing curricula and teaching materials – desirable
