Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a deputy clinical leader within the Stroke Unit at Royal Bournemouth Hospital. The post holder will have experience within the field of Stroke and demonstrate high standards of patient care and clinical expertise within a Stroke Speciality. They will be expected to provide a high-quality service for patients and their families to meet the Trust objectives, Unit policies and standards. Furthermore they will participate with the Clinical Leaders in the organisation and management of the Unit using available resources effectively and efficiently. They will take responsibility for the Unit in the absence of the Clinical Leaders as well as supervise and teach qualified and unqualified staff, whilst all the time maintain their own professional development and promote research-based practices. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate excellent leadership and organisational skills, the Stroke unit is a busy and demanding area.
