Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Italian Chef at a hot food takeaway shop in Newcastle Upon Tyne. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking authentic Italian dishes, designing menus, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring food quality and presentation. The role also involves overseeing food inventory, maintaining kitchen hygiene standards, and collaborating with the culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
Pay: Disclosed after you apply, based on your experience and expertise.
Hours: 5 days a week
Wed, Thur, and Sun - 4pm to 12am
Friday and Saturday - 4pm to 1am
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Italian cuisine and culinary techniques, mainly in Pasta and Lasagna.
* No previous professional experience is required, although you will have to show us that you have the right skills we are looking for.
* Menu planning and food preparation skills.
* Skilled in kitchen management and operations.
* Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
* Creativity in developing new dishes and menu items.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
* Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications.
