Management Accountant - Milton Keynes (Hybrid working) - £55,000 Bonus & benefits This large and growing construction company is seeking to recruit a Management Accountant for a divisional office in Milton Keynes. This role would suit a part qualified or finalist CIMA or ACCA accountant Benefits: 28 days holiday (option to buy additional 5 days). private health, pension, life assurance, share scheme Main responsibilities: Preparation of management accounts for the region including joint ventures (JV) with variance analysis to identify trends and provide commentary Monitor and report on financial and non-financial metrics, reporting to JV partners Assisting with monthly and weekly forecasting. Ownership of P&L and supporting schedules to ensuring forecasting is accurate Ownership of revenue valuations claims and forecasting Review of regular monthly and weekly reporting submitted to Division and Group Finance Period end processing, journals to process actuals, balance sheet reconciliations Participate in audits conducted per the calendar including audits for joint ventures Involvement in day-to-day transaction recording as required including journals, purchase orders, sales invoicing, cashbook postings, payments to suppliers and chasing overdue debt Assistance as required with annual budget and strategic planning cycles Required skills: Part qualified / finalist / qualified accountant Experience of working as a management accountant Strong MS Excel and general aptitude for systems Excellent analytical and organizational skills Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy Broadstone Resourcing Ltd acts as an Employment Agency and an Employment Business and all appointments will be made on merit alone.
