Legal Counsel, Infrastructure – Scotland (Assignment 16806)
Our client, a global leader in infrastructure projects, is looking for a Legal Counsel to join their Glasgow-based In-House Legal Team. This opportunity is available on either a full-time or part-time basis.
In this role, you will provide proactive legal support to the business on non-contentious construction matters, offering expert guidance, practical advice, and hands-on assistance with legal and compliance issues. Key responsibilities include:
• Reviewing and negotiating construction contracts, JV agreements, PCGs, warranties, and bonds, as well as advising on contract administration, disputes, and claims.
• Building strong relationships with managers and employees to ensure legal support aligns with business objectives.
• Collaborating with UK Commercial, Treasury, and Group Legal teams to coordinate bonds and PCGs.
• Ensuring full compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years’ PQE with a solid understanding of the construction or infrastructure sector. However, those with less PQE may also be considered if they demonstrate the necessary skills and experience.
Senior Counsel – Glasgow/Scotland (Assignment 16805)
Our client, a global leader in infrastructure projects, is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join their Glasgow-based In-House Legal Team.
This role focuses on non-contentious construction work, including drafting and negotiating complex construction contracts, advising on procurement strategies, managing joint ventures, and overseeing dispute resolution. You will also oversee external legal teams, streamline internal legal processes, ensure compliance with company policies, and build strong relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, lawyers, and clients to address legal issues and mitigate risks.
To be considered, you will have at least 5+ years’ post-qualification experience (PQE), with a strong understanding of construction and infrastructure law, gained in-house or within a private practice. Strong organisational, commercial, and negotiation skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently, lead projects, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Senior Solicitor/Associate (Litigation/Contentious-Construction) – Edinburgh/Glasgow (Assignment 11987)
This leading law firm is currently recruiting a solicitor to join its Construction Team. This role can be based in Edinburgh or Glasgow and would suit candidates between 2-7 years’ PQE. Ideally, you should have some construction litigation experience, however, those coming from a commercial or property litigation background will also be considered.
You will have the opportunity to be involved in a wide variety of work including contentious claims and insurance disputes across a range of formal dispute proceedings including mediation, adjudication, litigation and arbitration.

Construction (Non-Contentious) – Glasgow/Edinburgh (Assignment 10620)
This firm is currently recruiting a Solicitor with at least 2 years’ PQE to join its Construction and Engineering team. This role can be based in Glasgow or Edinburgh and the ideal candidate should have non-contentious construction experience.
You will advise on all aspects of non-contentious construction law and will also support the contentious side of the team. A competitive salary and benefits package are on offer.
Dispute Resolution, Associate/Senior Associate – Edinburgh/Glasgow/Aberdeen (Assignment 15239)
We are delighted to have been instructed on this new Dispute Resolution role with our client, a full-service international Law Firm. The firm is currently seeking an Associate/Solicitor Associate to join its leading Infrastructure, Construction & Energy Disputes team (ICE); the location of the post is flexible and can be based in either Aberdeen, Edinburgh or Glasgow.
The post-holder can expect to advise on a broad range of energy, construction and engineering disputes and will be largely involved in the team’s business development activities. To be considered for this role, you should be a qualified Lawyer with at least 3+ years’ PQE and extensive experience of contentious construction (energy) and dispute resolution. Previous experience of project management is desirable however not essential.
This is a full-time position and a great opportunity to work closely with a variety of different partners and associates and develop new skills within this area of law.
Construction Dispute Resolution Lawyer – Edinburgh / Glasgow (2456) (Assignment 16629)
Our client, an international law firm, is currently recruiting for a Lawyer to join its Construction, Advisory, and Disputes team in either the Edinburgh or Glasgow office. The team covers the full lifecycle of projects, from set-up and risk management during delivery to dispute avoidance and resolution.
The firm is seeking a candidate experienced in construction and engineering disputes or advisory work, with particular reference to the infrastructure, energy, and/or real estate sectors. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years’ PQE and experience in disputes involving adjudication, arbitration, litigation, and mediation. You should also have a strong academic background and be able to demonstrate strong technical skills with a solid commercial awareness.
