We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager with a background in local authority, social housing, domestic voids, response repairs, DLO experience, and P&L management. The ideal candidate should be proficient with numbers and client management. You will be responsible for overseeing 3-4 contracts along with an equal number of supervisors and direct reports.
Salary: £60,000 + £5,000 car allowance + £4,000 bonus (23 + 8 (+1 per year until 28 + 8)), pension, and other benefits (please ask).
Responsibilities include:
1. Monitor the performance of the contract and ensure that Key Performance Indicators are achieved.
2. Manage resources to ensure efficiency and that contractual obligations are maintained.
3. Monitor progress of the contract to ensure completed works meet the agreed specification standard.
4. Monitor quality, safety, and environment, promoting a safety culture within the business unit.
5. Manage a team of Contract Supervisors and liaise with Administrators and Resident Liaison Officers to ensure contractual expectations are met, along with responsibility for mentoring and developing employees.
6. Ensure works are completed to a high standard.
Requirements:
1. Knowledge of building maintenance and repairs.
2. Trade background preferred.
3. General Health and Safety qualifications (IOSH, CSCS, Scaffold Management, SMSTS).
4. Full current UK clean driving licence.
5. Clean DBS.
